Maddy and Me

I woke up today just to go look at the dogs at the SPCA tent at a school fair. I had no intention of really getting one. Then, while I was holding this sweet little one a young girl of about 6 or 7 years old asked to hold her. My first reaction was "No, you can't have my dog." In fact, I think I did say no. And then my grown-up self reminded me that this was a child and that I should share. That was the moment I knew that I had to take this dog home. When you don't want a little girl to take your dog away then you know that dog belongs to you.
